Alior Bank surpasses competitors to rank first in Poland’s banking sector

Alior, Poland’s eighth-largest bank by assets, has inched its way up The Banker’s best performing league tables over the past two years, taking the top spot for Poland in this year’s rankings. 

The bank, which was the seventh-largest bank by Tier 1 capital in 2023, has recorded table-topping results overall with a score of 7.14. It has also topped the best performing tables for Poland for profitability (7.77), operational efficiency (7.88), soundness (7.49) and leverage (7.46).
