Andorra

Crèdit Andorrà Profit growth, good RoE and stronger balance sheet are all good parameters to judge a bank’s performance. Crèdit Andorrà, once again, has demonstrated good results in all these areas and the full integration of CaixaBank, acquired in 2005, into its books strengthened the group’s position on all fronts.

Private banking and asset management, two significant businesses for the bank, have also both performed well and have contributed to Crèdit Andorrà’s increased market share in the country’s banking sector.

“The Banker’s award is a wonderful recognition for the involvement and dedication of every one of those who form part of Crèdit Andorrà,” says CEO Josep Peralba. “This year has been a key year for us. On top of the very intense competition in the sector, we have been able to complete the process of integrating CaixaBank successfully. The award is an honour we would like to share with our small country, Andorra, because it represents a prize for quality of service, for good banking practice, in fact, for the continuing improvement of our sector. For Andorra, a country that is indeed small but with a long financial tradition, this award is one of shared pride.

“Our future horizon holds an ambitious strategic plan for 2007-2010, which sets out our forecast for growth at the international level through private banking and corporate services, as well as projecting a qualitative leap forward in the excellence of services and value added being offered to our customers.”
