The bank has developed its position as Asia’s largest domestic and cross-border cash management provider. In the past year, its income has grown 23%, its customer liabilities 36%, its payments volume 26% and it has won 1617 new mandates. HSBC’s cash management SWIFT volumes in Asia have grown by 48% over the year and it now holds the top spot in the region. It is also the leading foreign investor in China’s financial industry.
