The expansion of the bank’s line of lending products resulted in an 11% growth of the loan portfolio, spearheaded by mortgage lending, which can justly be considered product of the year for AUB. Aided by the bank’s systematic extension of credit terms and reduction of interest rates, mortgage lending evolved from an exotic instrument into a popular service.
Last year, AUB became the first Kyrgyz financial institution to obtain an international credit rating, when it was rated by Moody’s International. In the past 18 months, AUB introduced a modern Q-matic multifunction client management system, which enabled the bank to reduce the average service time dramatically by more than 50%.
