Anita Hawser speaks to Lithuania’s vice-minister of finance at the EBRD’s 2023 annual meeting. Lithuania and the Baltic countries were hit hard by high energy prices due to the war in Ukraine. Nevertheless, the economy grew by just shy of 2% in real terms last year and Lithuania’s recovery and resilience plan aims to help the country become less reliant on imported energy as well as digitalising the economy and public sector.
