Norway is the only developed country to contribute more than twice its fair financial contribution towards the 2022 Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, according to a report by think-tank the Overseas Development Institute.

The GBF consists of 23 targets and aims to protect 30 per cent of land, sea and inland waters and restore 30 per cent of degraded ecosystems by 2030.
