At some 42.8%, the bank’s fee-income ratio is now among the highest of its peers.

Having recently invested in an open architecture core banking platform, the bank has been able to integrate best-of-breed technology products, and improve both its channel strategy and its corporate service offering. In addition, CCB has re-engineered its branch operations to improve service levels, and has continued to expand its ATM networks and internet offering. With ambitions to become a major regional player, CCB has concentrated on building out the largest international network among its domestic peers, with 74 overseas locations now supporting the growth of the bank’s commercial business.
