The Financial Conduct Authority has confirmed it will overhaul listing rules in an effort to boost market activity, in what is considered the biggest reform of the UK’s capital markets in decades.

Analysts as well as politicians have lamented the lack of initial public offerings in the country and warned the UK has become less competitive.
